UPDATED | Senior shopping hours; stores serving vulnerable shoppers

YOUNGSTOWN — COVID-19 is particularly deadly for older people and people with underlying health conditions. To protect these groups, multiple grocery chains are designating specific hours for elderly and immuno-compromised shoppers.

These Mahoning Valley stores are making accommodations for people vulnerable to the coronavirus:

Aldi, open daily 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Stores will reserve the first hour of business on Tuesdays and Thursdays for vulnerable shoppers.
