WRTA driver facing charges after crash
YOUNGSTOWN – A Western Reserve Transit Authority bus driver is facing charges after crashing into a truck in Youngstown Saturday morning.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred around 8 a.m. The bus hit a passing truck while turning left into a parking lot off westbound Midlothian Boulevard. The WRTA bus struck the truck on the driver's side, sending it skidding across the road.
Minor injuries were reported at the scene. The Highway Patrol indicated the driver will be cited for failure to yield.
