YOUNGSTOWN — The Western Reserve Transit Authority is offering several options to help voters get to the ballot box by bus.

Early voting

Voters can participate in early voting at the Mahoning or Trumbull County Board of Elections through Nov. 2.

WRTA’s 7-Glenwood bus makes hourly stops near the Mahoning County Board of Elections on Oak Hill Avenue.

The 28-Warren Express route also operates hourly and stops at the intersection of Youngstown Road (Route 422) and Central Parkway Ave. SE. From there, it’s a short walk to the Trumbull County Board of Elections.

The days and hours that early voting is available in Ohio can be found here.

Voting on Election Day

Many polling places in Mahoning County and the City of Warren are served by WRTA fixed-route buses. Voters can see maps and schedules at the WRTA website, and can also use the site’s Online Trip Planner to enter the address of their polling place. This feature is also available on the myStop Mobile smartphone app.

WRTA’s ADA-All Access and Countywide services also will provide options on Election Day for those voters who are unable to ride a fixed-route bus, or those whose polling places are outside the fixed-route service area. Advance reservations are required to use these services.

All rides on WRTA buses are free through the end of the year.
