YOUNGSTOWN — The public radio service of Youngstown State University, 88.5 WYSU-FM, is conducting its donor and membership awareness campaign throughout April.

Instead of its traditional membership drive, the station is encouraging listeners to contribute online here. Click the “Donate Now” button at the top of the page.

During the campaign, there will be no interruption of WYSU’s programming, only reminders during regularly scheduled breaks about the importance of listener support for noncommercial, public radio, a news release states.

The station’s goal is to hear from 1,000 donors by the end of April.
