WYSU-FM to have special programming on Thanksgiving Day

Fans can take time to give thanks and celebrate one of life's most meaningful gifts: music.

YOUNGSTOWN — Noncommercial, listener-supported public radio station 88.5 WYSU-FM will have special programming on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28).

The schedule includes:

  • Giving Thanks: A Celebration of Fall, Food, & Gratitude, 9 to 11 a.m. — Host John Birge will once again present a contemporary celebration of gratitude, with classical music and stories of Thanksgiving.
  • Every Good Thing, 11 a.m. to noon — Host Andrea Blain and classical music fans from around the country will take time to give thanks and celebrate one of life's most meaningful gifts: music.
  • Holiday music, noon to 3 p.m. — music from the Classical 24 Radio Network.
