Youngstown City Council members to host 2 more listening sessions on ARP funds
YOUNGSTOWN — City Council members will wrap up their listening sessions for residents and neighborhood groups to discuss their priorities for the city’s $82.7 million American Rescue Plan funds.
Two sessions are scheduled:
- 4th Ward Councilman Mike Ray will host a session at 6 p.m. Aug. 10 at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church’s pavilion, 39 Laird St.;
- 2nd Ward Councilman Jimmy Hughes will host a session at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at McGuffey Centre — Associate Neighborhood Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road.
City Council representatives and members of the city’s administration and planning team will be in attendance to gather feedback and listen to priorities.
Printed surveys will be available for attendees to complete. The data gathered from the sessions will be used in the city’s planning process for the funds.
