Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor to reopen July 1

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor will welcome visitors back Wednesday (July 1).

The center's exhibit galleries will be open to the general public each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.

Additional hours for high-risk patrons only will be on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to noon.

The museum, which is presented In partnership with Ohio History Connection and Youngstown State University, has been closed since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The archives and library will remain closed until further notice.

Staff and volunteers will be wearing masks for their safety as well as the safety of others, and visitors are encouraged to wear masks when they enter the museum. Sanitizer stations will be available.

Museum staff urges patrons to pay admission fees by card or check, and group tours will require a reservation by calling 330-941-1314.
