Youngstown to play in division finals of PONY League World Series tonight

WASHINGTON, Pa. — The Youngstown baseball team will play in the division finals of the Dick’s Sporting Goods PONY League World Series at 8 p.m. tonight.

Youngstown will face the winner of today’s game between Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and Washington County, Pa. 

Youngstown advanced to the division final after beating Bayamon, 4-1, on Sunday, with Mason Petridis throwing a one-hitter and Hunter Garvin hitting a two-run home run. Petridis struck out nine batters and allowed just one run on one hit and one walk.
