YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State University Alumni Lecture Series will present "Jazz Alumni Spotlight Volume 1 with Dave Lalama ’76" at 7 p.m. today (Jan. 21).
Lalama will share career highlights and the importance of his YSU experience during the presentation, which can be viewed on Youngstown State Alumni Engagement’s Facebook page.
Lalama is professor of music at Hofstra University and is a founding faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music jazz program. He received his doctorate in music composition from New York University and is active as a clinician, arranger and performer throughout the United States.
