WRTA seeks public input on Warren routes and schedules
YOUNGSTOWN — The Western Reserve Transit Authority will begin fixed-route bus service in Warren in March 2020 and is seeking public input on how the routes should be structured.
The Youngstown-based WRTA will offer up to six routes to serve various areas within Warren. During the planning phase, the agency is seeking suggestions from the public on how these routes should be structured, including the streets they will run on and potential schedules.
WRTA will host two meetings for the public to hear the agency's preliminary plans and offer input:
• 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Trumbull County Veteran's Services Office, 253 E. Market St., Warren
• 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, Warren.
Final routes and schedules will be announced before the start of service next year.
