A Mahoning Valley organization that benefits local animals now has a bigger space and more parking area.

The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County recently announced the grand opening of its new location, The Menagerie by AWL.

As Trumbull County’s Humane Society, the Animal Welfare League is the only agency in the county that employs humane agents to file charges for cruelty, abuse, and neglect.

The organization also offers community outreach through education and assistance programs for low-income families. The Menagerie by AWL is the organization’s largest fundraiser, with all revenue directly benefiting the rescued animals.

“With more floor space and ample parking, we’re hoping to see increased sales at The Menagerie, which will in turn allow us to help even more animals in need,” said Bethany Cluckey, CEO of the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.

The Menagerie by AWL is at 6000 Youngstown- Warren Road in Niles. For more information, call 330-856-5174.
