New 63,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops Outpost coming to Niles

A new Bass Pro Shops Outpost is on its way to Niles.

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s announced plans for the new 63,000-square-foot outdoor retail store this week.

“We are humbled and excited to strengthen our relationship with the many hunting, fishing and outdoor families of Ohio. This part of the world is home to a proud sporting heritage,” Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris said. “Our latest Bass Pro Shops in Niles will make it easy for people and families to enjoy time together in the woods and on the water. For that, we are deep down proud and excited.”

The store will be in Howland Commons within the Eastwood Mall complex.

“We have been diligently working to enhance our Eastwood Mall Complex in an effort to bring the very best retail variety to the Mahoning Valley. Shaking hands with Johnny Morris to bring one of his amazing Bass Pro Shops retail stores here is a crown jewel addition to this complex and the entire region,” Cafaro Company co-president Anthony Cafaro Jr. said.

The new store is slated to open later this year.
