Popular local chef opens new Italian restaurant in downtown Youngstown
A new Italian restaurant is now open in downtown Youngstown. Casa Di Canzonetta, owned by Mark and Melissa Canzonetta, announced its grand opening on Wednesday.
The new culinary destination embodies the rich flavors and traditions of Italian cuisine.
Mark Canzonetta said after four months of hard work and dedication, the restaurant is ready to welcome guests and expressed gratitude for his family’s support.
“I want to take a moment to thank my family-my beautiful wife Melissa, our children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins-for their unwavering support, love, and guidance,” he said.
Canzonetta formerly owned Bistro 1907. The restaurant was shut down in late May following the explosion at the nearby Realty Tower.
Guests will find that everything from the menu to the decor has changed at the new restaurant, representing a homage to the Canzonetta family.
Canzonetta said Casa Di Canzonetta promises a warm and inviting atmosphere, where guests can enjoy an exquisite dining experience inspired by traditional Italian recipes and modern culinary techniques.
“Youngstown is ready for some good news and even better food. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests at the new Casa Di Canzonetta,” said Mark.
Casa Di Canzonetta is at 44 East Federal Street in downtown Youngstown and can be reached at (330) 238-7171.
