New Mexican food eatery is now open in Southern Park Mall. What’s on the menu?

Are you in the mood for some authentic Mexican food ? Taqueria El Vaquero is now open in the Southern Park Mall food court.

The new food joint, which currently also operates Taqueria El Vaquero & Taco Truck, opened its doors on Wednesday.

Owner Noelia Alcazar said she is excited to be open.

“It feels great to be open in this new location and we look forward to serving the Boardman community,” she said.

Menu items include quesabirrias, tacobirria, Mexican pizza-birria, tortas, street tacos, breakfast tacos, and more.

In a Tuesday announcement on Facebook, the restaurant posted:

“Amigos, the wait is over! Taqueria El Vaquero is opening its brand new location in Southern Park Mall’s food court tomorrow, October 10th - get ready for a fiesta on a plate!”

The food truck will continue to operate in conjunction with the new indoor location.

Southern Park Mall is at 7401 Market Street in Boardman.
