New Austintown athletic center has something for everyone. Take a look
A new Austintown athletic center has something for everyone, whether you’re into yoga, pickleball, lifting weights, or other activities.
Bodyshop Total Fitness, owned by Mike Stanec and Kaitlin Stanec, opened its doors in late October and is ready to serve the community, according to Mike Stanec.
“I have been working out at the Bodyshop since 1992 and I wanted to expand it and make it the best gym in the area,” he said. “Our goal was to make it a one stop shop that was welcoming to all members of the community.”
The fitness center offers a 22,000 square feet weight room, large cardio area, ab room, sauna, tanning beds, 3D full body scans, hot yoga room, and classes of various types. Personal trainers are also on staff.
Stanec said leagues and clinics for adults and youth are available with areas for basketball, pickleball, and volleyball.
He said what makes the center unique is the fact that it has something for everyone - no matter your age or ability.
Stanec shared that the lasting memories and friendships he made over the years at the fitness center made him want to continue to share that with his community on a larger scale.
“I love being able to see the genuine joy members have from their experiences at the Bodyshop,” he said.
Stanec said since opening, he has received great feedback from the community.
“I think the community is very pleased with what we have done and they are excited to be a part of it,” he said. We have had lots of positive feedback.”
Bodyshop Total Fitness is at 1741 South Raccoon Road in Austintown and can be reached at (330) 799-6636.
