New Mahoning Valley pizza place sees huge success, continues to sell out

A new Warren pizzeria is experiencing huge success since opening in October.

Franky’s Pizza & Delicatessen, located on Scott Street, offers appetizers and salads as well as several pizzas including the Brier Hill, Butcher’s Special, Pizza Primavera, the Westsider, and more.

A wide variety of sandwich options are also on the menu. Patrons can enjoy a Franky’s Italian, chicken parmesan, Cuban Italian, Blue Ribbon, and others.

According to a recent Facebook post, the restaurant has been so popular that they have had to adjust their hours due to selling out.

“The truth is, we opened fully prepared to rock and roll; however, you guys are hitting us HARD,” the post read. “So, we’re pulling an audible: Moving forward, Franky’s will be changing our hours to 11:00am-SOLD OUT Wednesday through Sunday.”

The posted stated that since opening, the restaurant has sold one pizza every 72 seconds that the open sign has been turned on.

The Facebook post went on to say the new pizza joint “couldn’t imagine a better city to be slangin’ slices in!”
