Locally-owned restaurant in Boardman announces December family meal deals
The busy holiday season is in full swing, and starting this week, the team at Garden Kettle wants to take care of family dinners for Mahoning Valley customers every Wednesday.
Garden Kettle opened in 2023 and offers a broad selection of healthy lunch and dinner options including salads, wraps and seasonal soups.
Stacey and Joe Rzonsa own Garden Kettle at 8049 Market St. in Boardman, as well as the Blue Wolf Tavern.
They opened the Garden Kettle to offer a variety of healthy items for the whole family.
“We wanted to offer fresh food for whoever wanted to consume it no matter what their taste was,” Stacey told Mahoning Matters.
For December, they’re offering Wednesday family meals and meal prep kits for when customers start feeling the middle-of-the-week stress and don’t want to cook.
The meals are available through pick-up window so customers can stay in the car.
“Our meals are designed to be homestyle and offer a healthy substitute,” Stacey wrote online.
To get a family meal prep kit, call in a pre-order on the Monday before your pick-up on select Wednesdays in December.
The Garden Kettle is closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1; meal pick-ups resume Jan. 8.

The Garden Kettle also serves breakfast. They’re open from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and breakfast is available from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
