Local lighting landscaper expanding business with U-Haul services in Mahoning County
In addition to lighting up driveways, porches and business properties, a Mahoning County company can now help residents move their belongings to their new homes in the Youngstown area.
Edison Lighting and Storage is ready to meet moving and self-storage demands of Mahoning County with a new additional service offered to customers.

Owner Edward Wojciechowski has specialized in home landscape lighting at Edison Lighting and Storage in Poland since 2004.
He and his team work with northeast Ohio homeowners and business owners to create custom outdoor lighting plans that highlight the properties’ landscape and other features.
This year, he’s offering U-Haul rental services for moving day, including trucks, trailers, towing equipment and moving supplies.
When Mahoning Valley customers rent from U-Haul dealers like Wojciechowski, the profit goes to Edison Lighting and Storage, allowing community members to directly support a local independent small business.
He’s one of “21,000 dealers across the U.S. and Canada generating supplemental income through their U-Haul affiliation,” according to a release from U-Haul on March 3.
Once residents are set at their new homes, Edison can design and set up an outdoor lighting system to illuminate the property.
Edison Lighting and Storage is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 9883 S. Ave. in Poland.
