New facility for athletes and coaches opening in the Mahoning Valley

A new state-of-the-art fitness facility dedicated to empowering athletes and fitness enthusiasts is opening in the Mahoning Valley.

Howland Performance, owned by Jesse DeJacimo, will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber on Friday.

The new facility offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the needs of its clients, according to DeJacimo.

He said it boasts cutting-edge equipment including pitching machines, batting and pitching cages, a basketball court, and a team of experienced coaches who provide personalized training programs, group fitness classes, and sports-specific training sessions.

In addition to physical training, Howland Performance offers birthday parties and recreational event rentals.

“Howland Performance goes beyond just providing top-tier training services,” DeJacimo said. “Our vision is to build a thriving community of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to improving their performance and supporting one another in their athletic journeys.”

“Our ultimate goal is to see the facility not only help individuals achieve their personal best but also inspire a culture of excellence and perseverance that extends beyond the walls of the gym,” he added.

DeJacimo, a father of three who coaches his young boys, said the inspiration behind opening Howland Performance came from a lack of high-quality facilities that could help them reach their full potential.

He said he wanted to create a space where coaches and kids could access the resources and support they needed to excel.

Howland Performance is at 9139 East Market Street in Howland and can be reached at 330-883-6508. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place at the facility on Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m.
