“Ultimate indoor play space.” Ohio’s first Ninja Nation coming to Mahoning County
An indoor obstacle course arena and the ultimate indoor play space has announced the opening of its newest franchise location in Mahoning Valley.
Kyle and Samantha Leonard are set to open the first Ninja Nation Obstacle Arena in Ohio at a 14,000-square-foot facility in Boardman this spring.
Wayne Cavanaugh, the founder of Ninja Nation, said he’s excited to enter the Ohio market with the Leonards leading the way.
”We believe Kyle and Samantha are the perfect partners to lead the way,” Cavanaugh said. “We’re looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community and bringing our blend of fitness and fun to Mahoning Valley.”
The new Ninja Nation indoor obstacle course with experiences designed to foster fitness and fun for all ages is set to open at 7394 Market St. in Boardman.
There are currently nine Ninja Nation gyms and 11 mobile courses open nationwide, including Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, California and Arizona.
“We’re excited to bring the exciting and empowering sport of Ninja to Mahoning Valley and create a community that supports and challenges each other,” Samantha said. “Ninja Nation’s mission to promote health and confidence in a positive, active environment resonates deeply with us.”
The Boardman arena is the first Ninja Nation location in Ohio and they’re planning on opening 19 more arenas in the U.S. as part of a company expansion.
Kyle and Samantha are both passionate advocates of youth fitness and said they can’t wait to bring the Mahoning Valley into Ninja Nation.
”Owning a Ninja Nation has been a longtime goal for us. It’s the ultimate indoor play space,” Kyle said. “We believe in the sport’s potential to transform lives and help kids grow.
The Leonards plan to build a vibrant community and offer an array of classes, birthday parties, day camp and group events.
