Commissioners welcome new interactive Xfinity store in western Pennsylvania
Mahoning Valley and western Pennsylvania residents can visit a new hands-on cellphone and electronics store to test out products and chat with customer service representatives.
Comcast hosted the grand opening ribbon-cutting of the new Xfinity store in New Castle, Pennsylvania with Forward Lawrence, the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Alliance.
Visit the New Castle Xfinity Store from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday at 2535 West State St.
Ben Bush is the executive director of Forward Lawrence, the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Alliance.
He described Comcast’s New Castle Xfinity store as a great addition to the revitalizing region.
“There has been a great response from the community since the store opened, and it’s exciting to see this growth in New Castle during a time of revitalization for our town,” he said. “Comcast’s New Castle Xfinity store is providing jobs and convenient access to essential technology that our community relies on daily in their personal and professional lives.”
The Lawrence County commissioners also welcomed the 1,600-square-foot Xfinity storefront in the Union Square Shopping Center.
“This new location in Union Township will be beneficial to Comcast’s customers from a convenience standpoint. We appreciate the company’s investment in our community,” Dan Vogler, chairman of Lawrence County board of commissioners, said.
The store has an interactive design for customers to test out Xfinity mobile and NOW products, like the Xfinity X1 entertainment service and Xfinity Home Solutions.
Customers can also learn about services like the Xfinity Internet five-year price guarantee or find business tech solutions with a Comcast Business expert.
This Xfinity Store is the first in New Castle and serves residents of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania and Mahoning County.
Comcast is currently expanding its network to:
- Poland and Boardman project underway to connect 17,000 homes and businesses to Xfinity and Comcast Business products and services.
- Comcast expansion project set to start later in 2025 in Springfield Township
