Ice cream shop with patio hosts official grand opening in Trumbull County
Several Mahoning Valley families spent Memorial Day weekend welcoming a new business now open in Trumbull County.
Residents tried ice cream creations at Ripley’s Scoop Shop, the newly-opened scoop shop partnering with Cockeye Creamery in Warren for sweet treats this summer.
Ripley’s Scoop Shop hosted a grand opening May 25 at 394 OH-7 in Brookfield Township, with over 18 flavors of ice cream to choose from and enjoy out on the patio.
For every pup cup ordered for $1, Ripley’s Scoop Shop will send a donation to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
“Our little town of Brookfield that I have loved and was born and raised in needs a place like this. I was so sad when dairy queen and McDonald’s closed here. We need this. Best of Luck. I hope your business will be here for generations to come,” one follower commented on Facebook.
Visit Ripley’s from 1 - 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1 - 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
