Self-storage units across Trumbull County sold by local owners to developer
Several self-storage facilities around Trumbull County were recently sold by a local family for a few million dollars, according to records with the Trumbull County Auditor’s Office.
In August, members of the Oakes family sold several of their Mosquito Creek Storage facilities, starting with the units at 1099 Champion St. in Champion Township and 2750 Warren Meadville Road in Bazetta, to a New York real estate developer.
The records from the county auditor’s office show these two properties were acquired by Propco LLC for a total of $1.7 million.
The Oakes family sold two more storage units at 661 Perkins Jones Road in Bazetta Township for $720,000 and another at 3168 Warren-Meadville Road for $2 million, to Propco LLC.
Propco LLC also bought the Mosquito Creek Storage and mini warehouse complex at 4255 King Graves Road in Fowler Township from the Oakes family for a total of $2.28 million.
The Mosquito Creek Storage unit at 4929 Parkman Road NE in Warren was sold by the Oakes family to Propco for $360,000, according to the auditor’s records.
