“It’s great that the people of Girard and surrounding area now have access to legal, tested, regulated cannabis. It has been found to be a great solution for many, and it is also quite beneficial to the city financially,” the mayor said. “Welcome Curaleaf to ‘The Heart of the Valley’ here in Girard.”

This marks Curaleaf’s fifth THC and CBD dispensary in Ohio, open to both adult-use customers and medical patients across the Mahoning Valley.

“Our goal is to provide the city with access to high-quality cannabis, trusted products, consumer education and compassionate service for both new adult-use customers and long-standing medical patients,” said Luke Flood, executive vice president of Curaleaf’s western and central regions.

For the ribbon cutting, guests will get access to exclusive promotions on some of their most popular products and brands, including 30% off Find, Select, JAMS, Grassroots and Riviera Creek products.

“It’s been incredibly rewarding to contribute to a growing market that’s positively impacting both patients and consumers,” Flood said. “Expanding into new cities like Girard, where there wasn’t previously a local dispensary, means that we‘re helping reduce some of the everyday obstacles people face when seeking tested, regulated and reliable cannabis products. We’re proud to serve as a trusted provider and educational resource, helping our communities make informed, confident choices about cannabis.”

“Curaleaf has received a very warm welcome from the community. Our new customers and patients have shared their appreciation for having a local dispensary where they can learn more about the cannabis products and services available to them. It’s clear that the community is thrilled to have access to tested, regulated cannabis for the first time in its history,” Flood said.
