Meijer drops prices on turkeys, over 90 holiday grocery staples across Ohio
Shoppers at Meijer in the Mahoning Valley will see prices lowered on all the staples for Thanksgiving dinner, from frozen turkeys and dessert favorites to ingredients for the perfect stuffing.
Meijer has discounts up to 50% off on more than 90 Meijer brand grocery essentials for the holiday season through Dec. 31, according to president and CEO Rick Keyes.
“As a family-owned company, we understand the importance of holiday traditions like Thanksgiving dinner,” Keyes said. “We’re working hard to provide low prices on turkey and holiday staples so our customers can enjoy a special meal with their family and friends without having to worry about the cost.”
Meijer brand frozen turkeys are on sale for 49 cents per pound or less.
In addition to low turkey prices, Meijer brand holiday staples are included in the 8-week promotion through the end of the year.
Items include Meijer brand food and drinks, ncluding baking ingredients, turkey gravy, stuffing and canned vegetables, including:
- Meijer Whole Kernel Golden Sweet Corn or Green Beans: $0.49
- Meijer Turkey or Chicken Stuffing Mix: $0.99
- Meijer 100% Pure Canned Pumpkin or Jellied Cranberry Sauce: $1.09
- Meijer Crescent Rolls, Cinnamon Rolls and Biscuits: $1.49
- Meijer Pie Crust: $1.99
- Meijer Light Brown Sugar, two-pound bag: $1.99
- Meijer All-Purpose Flour, five-pound bag: $2.19
- Meijer Pure Granulated White Sugar, four-pound bag: $2.89

Between Nov. 23 through Nov. 29, customers who add Meijer brand products to their carts will help provide meals for Simply Good food pantry.
The promotion includes Frederik’s, Purple Cow and True Goodness items in store.
