Owners of local pizza restaurants announce closure of Struthers location

The owners of a local pizza chain made the difficult decision to shift gears and scale the business back down to two locations.

According to a post on Facebook, Bruno Brothers Pizza is closed on Youngstown-Poland Road in Struthers after being open for “five unforgettable years.”

“This has been more than just a pizza shop,” owners wrote online. “It’s been a gathering place where memories were made, laughter was shared and friendships blossomed. Your support and loyalty have been the cornerstone of our journey and we can’t thank you enough for being part of our story.”

The Bruno Brothers, Joe and Emil Bruno, specialize in New York style pizza, wings and other classics like pepperoni rolls, garlic knots and cannoli.

Customers can still find Bruno Brothers Pizza at 8381 Market St. in Boardman or at 5549 Mahoning Ave. in Austintown.

“To our cherished guests, you’ve made these years truly special! While this goodbye is bittersweet, we will always cherish the moments we’ve shared. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! It has been an honor to serve you,” owners wrote.
