SHAPES Unlimited celebrates new corporate headquarters in Mahoning County
A leading distributor and manufacturer of aluminum building products in the U.S. celebrated the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Mahoning County on Tuesday.
SHAPES Unlimited Inc. moved into the new state-of-the-art 80,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility at 13001 Mahoning Ave. in North Jackson.
Doug Rende is the CEO of SHAPES Unlimited Inc., which specializes in products like ready-to-install aluminum fence panels and gates.
“Our new headquarters isn’t just a new building, it’s a strategic investment in our future, while evidencing our commitment to the Mahoning Valley,” Rende said. “This facility strengthens our ability to serve our customers, enhances our corporate culture, accelerates product innovation and supports the tremendous growth we’re experiencing in both residential and commercial aluminum solutions.”
The new facility in North Jackson consolidates SHAPES Unlimited’s executive offices, operations, fabrication, warehousing and logistics under one roof, creating a more efficient environment to meet the growing national demand for aluminum fencing, railing, window reinforcements and specialty building components.
Upgrades include high-speed aluminum fabrication lines for all current building material product offerings, advanced manufacturing and robotic equipment for increased efficiency and productivity and next-generation storage and material handling.
There are dedicated training and collaboration spaces for employees and partners.
The SHAPES Unlimited facility is in the newly-developed North Jackson Commerce Park, a 45-acre development site lead by Top Property Holdings that’ll feature five buildings.
