“Eat local.” Coffee shop announces final day of operation in Trumbull County

Trumbull County business owners are once again highlighting the importance of supporting local as a coffee shop in downtown Warren unexpectedly announces its final day of operation.

Nova Coffee Co. is owned by John Ramsey and has been open since 2017 at 112 N Park Ave., close to Courthouse Square, in Warren.

According to a Facebook post from Feb. 1, Nova Coffee Co. will be open until Feb. 28.

“What a fun and unforgettable ride this has been. To everyone who has stopped by, caffeinated with us and made Nova Coffee Co. part of your day in Warren - you made this place what it is,” Nova Coffee Co. wrote online.

Fellow local businesses in the area are bidding farewell to the crew at Nova Coffee Co., like Casa di Canzonetta, Ink N Thread Works LLC and Beautiful Whirl’d, while also sharing a similar call to action.

“Moments like this are a reminder of just how important it is to support local whenever we can. Behind every small business is a real person, real family and a whole lot of heart,” the owner of Ink N Thread Works wrote. “If you have a favorite local spot, give them a visit, place an order, or share their page. It truly makes a difference.”

“Stop supporting corporations. They don’t care about you and the products are trash. Eat local and if you can’t this week, we get it! Sharing our posts are free,” the owner of Beautiful Whirl’d wrote.
