Owner of Youngstown Detail Co. highlights importance of vehicle maintenance
A local business owner is emphasizing the importance of education on vehicle maintenance and getting the right maintenance after harsh winter weather.
Chadd Anderson is the owner of Youngstown Detail Co. at 1221 North Meridian Road which has been open since 2017.
“We do basic detailing, and focus a lot of our detailing attention to services and products that are going to help keep the value of the vehicle higher for resale value, visual aesthetic, but also protective factors such as rock and chip protection,” Anderson said. “Since we have a lot of steel mills and a lot of industrial projects around here, it helps with the environmental contamination.”
For each project, Anderson focuses on protective services to maintain vehicle value and resale potential.
“Everyone invest in something, and a car and a house are the two most expensive,” he said. “We want to make sure that it’s not deteriorating over time so they can actually take advantage of a vehicle that lasts... We’re here to teach, but also to protect at the same time. We help people educated on seasonal changes and chemicals and try to keep it as simple as possible. That’s what we pride ourselves in: not only executing but teaching the client how to properly care for it.”
Youngstown Detail Co.’s booking about a month out, according to Anderson, who handles between 150 and 200 coatings each year.
“A lot of what we do has taken years to perfect, but we have also been able to provide an efficient service that not only is visually appealing, but something that’s going to last them for a long time,” Anderson said. “We don’t believe in short, quick services. We understand people’s budgets in the area, so we want to make sure that we’re going to be able to fit into your budget a service that’s going to provide you with exactly what you’re going to be looking for.”

“We put our heart and soul into what we do. We follow a lot of protocol with how to do everything properly and don’t use anything that’s going to affect the vehicle, damage or mark the surface up,” Anderson said. “We have taken a top 25 award for our ceramic coatings and our processes for four years straight, and currently placed sixteenth in the entire country’s network of 400 plus shops.”
