Porsche Drops Hot Cayenne May Lease Offers You Shouldn't Miss
The 2026 Porsche Cayenne in a Nutshell
Those lusting over high-spec and special edition 911s have the Cayenne to thank for that. Without it, Porsche wouldn't have been able to rake in the profits it needed to make the venerable sports car as good as it is now. The company's first SUV debuted in 2002, quickly becoming its best-seller until the Macan arrived.
The Cayenne is now in its fourth generation, though the third-generation model is still being sold alongside it until an all-new gas-powered version arrives. The third-gen Cayenne received a facelift for 2024, and more recently benefitted from infotainment upgrades for 2026. There will be another update for 2027.
2026 Porsche Cayenne Lease Deals for May
There are still no lease deals available for the electric-only (for now) fourth-gen Cayenne, although Porsche continues to have offers for the third-generation model. That said, it's just for one trim, and that's the entry-level version. With that, the midsize luxury crossover can be leased for $1,199 per month for 39 months with $10,909 due at signing.
Cayenne lease rates have remained steady over the last few months, though it's hard to say whether that will continue throughout the year. That said, those who missed out last month need not worry. As always, mileage is limited to 10,000 per year, and it's a hefty $ 0.30 per mile over. This offer is valid until June 1, 2026.
2026 Porsche Cayenne Highlights
We're focusing on the ICE-powered SUV version of the Cayenne here, so we're excluding the Coupe and electric models. With that, the range starts at $89,900 and goes up to $164,500, with six trims available. These trims are: Cayenne (base), e-Hybrid, S, S e-Hybrid, GTS, and Turbo S e-Hybrid.
What's interesting here is that no two Cayenne trims have similar power outputs. The standard model uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 making 348hp and 368 lb-ft. Above that is the e-Hybrid, which puts out 436 hp and 479 lb-ft. V8 power starts with the S putting out 468 hp and 443 lb-ft from the twin-turbo mill.
The S e-Hybrid is also a V8, and has a combined output of 512 hp and 553 lb-ft. The most powerful non-electrified model is the GTS, punching out 493 hp and 487 lb-ft. But for the fastest one you can get, you'll have to go for the Turbo e-Hybrid that dishes out 729 hp and 701 lb-ft.
Final Thoughts
The Cayenne might not be the first performance-oriented crossover, but it sure put an even greater emphasis on the 'sport' part of sport utility vehicle. It doesn't have the same carrying capacity as some of its rivals, but the Cayenne is still plenty practical enough for those who choose it. That's the bonus part, of course, and despite its age, it's still one of the sharpest crossovers to drive among its peers. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it.
