Aim Transportation Solutions hosting vendor expo at Youngstown’s Covelli Centre
Headquartered in Girard and Youngstown, Aim Transportation Solutions is the largest privately held full-service truck leasing company in the U.S.
On June 3, the sales team is coming together for the company’s annual summer sales meeting featuring a vendor expo in the Covelli Center’s parking lot in Youngstown.
Jessica Deane is the vice president of marketing for Aim Transportation Solutions.
“We’re driving business to downtown Youngstown by hosting the event here,” Deane said. “We try to host as many of our national events in Youngstown as possible for that reason. Additionally, growth for Aim is growth for the community.”
During the vendor expo from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., manufacturers like Tri-State Trailer and Kidron will be doing hands-on demonstrations for Aim’s national sales team on the mechanics behind the huge pieces of equipment they manufacture.
“We decided to host this event to give our salespeople a ‘taste of Youngstown.’ We’re giving everyone a chance to see what the great city of our headquarters is all about,” Deane said. “The vendor expo was specifically designed to make our salespeople more effective in their jobs.”

“Through a hands-on demonstration with the equipment types we’re proposing to customers, [our salespeople] can better identify the right equipment for the customers’ operation and provide them with a better customer experience,” Deane said. “We pride our sales team on not being salespeople but being consultants. This will help them be better consultants.”
The event is not open to the public.
As Aim’s long legacy of business continues, more job opportunities are created within the Mahoning Valley community and beyond.
Aim has more than 100 operations, 11,000 vehicles and 1,000 employees nationwide.
