Community shows up for Skippy’s Tavern during grand opening in Canfield
There’s a new bar and restaurant open for business at 12 North Broad St. in Canfield called Skippy’s Tavern.
“These first few days have been absolutely incredible, and we are so happy to see everyone and so grateful for the amount of support we have received from this community,” the owners of Skippy’s Tavern wrote online. “Our kitchen has been non -stop slammed all day and night.”
On the menu, patrons will find special flatbread pizzas like the Brier Hill and Angry Bird, burger and sandwiches like the Sticky Chicky with hot honey fried chicken.
Take a bite out of the Doctor’s Order, which is Dr. Pepper-marinated steak, or order wings char-grilled over an open flame.
Skippy’s Tavern also has weekly dessert specials, a seasonal cocktail menu and gluten-free pasta is available upon request for an additional $3.
