“Food made with care.” Find Diamond Cattle Farms in East Palestine, Lisbon
Toward the end of 2025, an East Palestine couple began managing a local business with goals to use their previous experience to expand.
Diamond Cattle Farms purchased a family-owned farm and butchery in 2023 from Duane Doyle, renaming it from Doyle’s Fresh Meats and Deli to Diamond Fresh Meat and Deli.
Terry Rankin has over 25 years of experience as a meat cutter and rejoined Diamond Fresh Meat and Deli, not only as a butcher but as the corporate meat manager.
He’s married to Kim, who left her nursing career to join Diamond Cattle Farms as director of operations.
Terry supervises all farm-to-table operations in the East Palestine Diamond Fresh Meat and Deli, including sausage making and meat cutting.
When visiting Diamond Fresh Meat and Deli, customers can bring home lunch meat sliced in store from the full deli and some of the Rankins’ smoked sausages and meats, including breakfast-inspired varieties and snack-sized bites.
Kim travels between the three locations under the Diamond Fresh brand, including the Diamond Meat & Restaurant in Lisbon.
On Fridays, she’s supervising Diamond Cattle Farms’ sales at Rogers Flea Market and Auctions in Building B.
“Our team works hard to offer quality products at fair prices while supporting local families and the surrounding community,” their website says. “Whether you’re stopping in for a hand-cut steak, fresh ground beef, homemade deli items or a full breakfast and lunch, we strive to provide food made with care and quality you can taste.”
They use only fresh USDA Choice or Better Beef, all-natural farm raised pork and all meat is sourced from their own animals or local farms.
