New Vienna handmade gift shop featuring 20 local craft vendors
Twenty local craft vendors have their products available for sale in a new shop which opened in June in Vienna.
Beth Woodside is the owner of The Crafty Coop at 1393 Youngstown-Kingsville Road SE in Vienna.
The idea for The Crafty Coop came from her six-year-old grandson, who recommended she open a store to sell her products.
“I make mainly primitive and farmhouse stuff, but I have 20 other vendors in here who make all different stuff from cards, wood products, oils and candles,” Woodside said.
The Crafty Coop gift shop is currently open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Woodside said the community response so far has been good.
To spread the word, Woodside placed 50 painted rocks around Vienna, and said customers who find one can bring it to the shop to redeem a discount or gift.
She found her fellow vendors after putting a message on the Everything Vienna Facebook page.
“I’m not sure if I have a favorite part yet; I love it all,” she said.
Community members are invited to The Crafty Coop’s official grand opening and ribbon cutting scheduled for 10 a.m. July 11 in Vienna.
During the event, there will be crafters inside and outside the building, as well as a coffee truck.
“We’ll be having a Name-The-Rooster contest for a $50 Visa gift card, and there’s going to be a kids’ tent. We have over 28 raffle baskets,” Woodside said.
