Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, Ohio Department of Health director, will give an update on COVID-19 in the state at 11 a.m. Friday.
He will be joined by Frederic Bertley, president and CEO of the Center of Science and Industry.
The Ohio Department of Health on Wednesday reported 829 new COVID-19 cases statewide in the past 24 hours. That includes 33 new cases in the Mahoning Valley: 12 new cases in Mahoning County (for a total of 53,161), 15 in Trumbull (41,297) and six in Columbiana (24,288), according to the state’s COVID-19 dashboard.
