Trumbull County Combined Health District to host COVID-19 vaccination clinic Thursday

The Trumbull County Combined Health District will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at its office, 176 Chestnut Ave. NE, Warren.

The Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available, as well as the Novavax vaccine, which requires two doses separated by a minimum of three weeks.

An appointment isn’t necessary, a news release states. To speed up the check-in process, recipients are encouraged to visit the health district’s website to download, print and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Record form and bring it to the clinic. If you are receiving your additional or booster dose, bring your vaccine card with you to your appointment.

If you are under an Ohio managed care Medicaid plan, you may be eligible to receive a gift card through the mail for a Moderna or Pfizer booster, the release states. Information will be provided at the clinic.

Ages of eligibility are 12 and older for the Pfizer vaccine, 5 to 11 for the Pfizer pediatric vaccine and 18 and older for the Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and Novavax vaccines.
