17 felony indictments made by Mahoning County grand jury

The Mahoning County grand jury on Thursday handed up 17 felony indictments.

The following people were indicted on Feb. 26 by the grand jury:

  • Brandon Clinkscale, 33, West Evergreen, Youngstown, receiving stolen property (f4);
  • Phillip Lawrence, 45, West Ravenwood Avenue, Youngstown, arson (f4);
  • Benjamin E. Kane, 47, West Boulevard, Boardman, theft (f5);
  • Geraldo Morales Vega, 37, in care of Mahoning County jail, breaking and entering (f5), possessing criminal tools (f5);
  • Elisha Hargrove, 18, Stone Mountain, Ga., improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle (f4);
  • Jeremy S. Weingart, 32, Main Street, New Middletown, aggravated theft (f3);
  • Karl Magee, 19, in care of Mahoning County jail, vandalism (f5);
  • Morgan Welsch, 33, Forest Park Drive, Boardman, theft of drugs (f4);
  • Jequan Broomfield, 37, in care of Northeast Ohio Corrections Center, three counts harassment with bodily substance (f5);
  • Mande L. Babyak, 50, Gail Drive, Hermitage, Pa., forgery (f5), tampering with records (f3);
  • Timothy L. Overton Jr., 27, Hammaker Street, Youngstown, aggravated possession of drugs (f5);
  • Frank D. Little, 35, Aberdeen Avenue, Youngstown, two counts aggravated possession of drugs (f5), possession of a fentanyl-related compound (f5);
  • Jeffrey L. Hake, 66, Lynchburg, Va., possession of cocaine (f5);
  • Ruby M. McCaulley, 29, in care of Mahoning County jail, possession of cocaine (f5);
  • John Doe, secret indictment, five counts aggravated possession of drugs (f5) w/forfeiture specifications, having weapons while under disability (f3) w/two gun specifications, possession of cocaine (f5) with specification for forfeiture, possession of a fentanyl-related compound (f2) with specification for forfeiture,  illegal use/possession of drug paraphernalia (m4) with specification for forfeiture;
  • John Doe, secret indictment, having weapons while under disability (f3) w/ specification for forfeiture, aggravated possession of drugs (f2) w/specification for forfeiture, possession of cocaine (f5) w/specification for forfeiture, possession of a fentanyl related compound (f2) w/specification for forfeiture, aggravated possession of drugs (f5) w/specification for forfeiture, illegal use/possession of drug paraphernalia (m4), possession of marijuana (f3);
  • John Doe, secret indictment, having weapons while under disability (f3) w/specification for forfeiture, aggravated possession of drugs (f2) w/specification for forfeiture, possession of cocaine (f5), w/specification for forfeiture, possession of a fentanyl-related compound (f2) w/specification for forfeiture, aggravated possession of drugs (f5) w/specification for forfeiture, aggravated possession of drugs (f1) w/specification for forfeiture, selling, purchasing, distributing or delivering dangerous drugs (f5) w/specification for forfeiture.
