Trumbull County search warrants lead to massive Mahoning Valley drug bust
The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office TAG Drug Task Force in conjunction with the Niles Police Department SRT Team simultaneously executed search warrants in the 500 block of South Main Street Niles, Ohio and the 1400 block of West Avenue Warren, Ohio.
The recent search warrants were the result of a lengthy drug investigation into both locations.
During the search of both locations, investigators recovered approximately 3600 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 609 grams of Cocaine, 133 grams of Crack Cocaine, 265 grams of Fentanyl, 81 grams of Heroin, approximately $22,000 dollars in U.S. currency, two (2) kilogram narcotics presses, two (2) bullet proof vest, miscellaneous ammunition and magazines, and eleven (11) firearms.
It is an ongoing investigation, and charges will be filed at a later date pending lab results.
The TAG Drug Task Force was assisted by the Warren City Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Niles Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Youngstown, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
