YOUNGSTOWN — The Rich Center For Autism is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a number of events planned throughout the year, beginning with a free webinar featuring autism spokesperson, scientist and inventor Temple Grandin at noon Friday (March 5).

Grandin, a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, will describe the challenges she has faced and offer glimpses into her childhood, with ideas on how others dealing with autism can overcome obstacles and improve the quality of their lives.

"It's a big honor to have Temple Grandin as our featured speaker to help bring awareness and education about autism to our community. We are thrilled to host this event," Greg Boerio, executive director of The Rich Center For Autism, said in a news release.

"The Rich Center For Autism Presents a Virtual Lunch with Temple Grandin" webinar will include a question and answer session. For more information and to register, click here.
