‘MUCH WORK TO DO’ | Mayor Brown, OH WOW! give city updates
YOUNGSTOWN — Mayor Jamael Tito Brown gave his State of the City address at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber Good Morning Youngstown Breakfast on Friday morning.
Brown said the past year has been difficult for everyone, and people had to learn how to be flexible and adaptable.
He discussed the challenges of the city throughout the pandemic and where the city is at now.
"We have so much more work to do, and we've come so far in such a short time," Brown said.
The Youngstown Year in Review for 2020 and Brown's State of the City address is available on the city's website.
Suzanne Barbati, president and executive director of OH WOW!, also announced the center would be reopening at 9 a.m. on May 15 after being closed due to the pandemic.
Tickets will be available online to preregister. OH WOW! Will be open at 25 percent capacity due to COVID-19 safety regulations.
