Meijer coming to Eastwood Mall Complex in 2023
NILES — A Meijer supercenter will open at the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles in 2023, Joe Bell, Cafaro Company spokesman, said today.
The 159,264-square-foot store will be at the site of the former Super Kmart building in the Howland Commons section of the complex. A 3,376-square-foot convenience store and gas station will be located across the parking lot, closer to Route 46, Bell said in a news release.
"Demolition of the former Kmart building will be soon and completion of the new Meijer will take an additional 12-14 months," Bell said, adding "Howland Township has granted all the necessary permits for the project to proceed."
Meijer recently opened a store in Boardman.
