Pizza maker Alex Zordich’s Yosteria is back
YOUNGSTOWN — After closing its location at the B&O Station in the fall of 2018, local pizza maker Yosteria is back at a new location.
According to a post on Instagram, Yosteria will open today for takeout at 3649 Canfield Road in Cornersburg. The restaurant will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Owner Alex Zordich intends to expand operating hours once he is able to hire more staff. He also hopes to sell beer and wine for take-out at the Cornersburg location.
The take-out project is a stepping stone for a larger project downtown, Zordich said. He has purchased an old home in the Youngstown neighborhood of Smoky Hollow where he would like to open a winery.
"Everyone keeps asking me about the pizza, so this is a great way to get it out there," Zordich said.
