‘Stop the Violence’ vigil to seek peace in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN — Clergy and community leaders of the Greater Youngstown Against the Violence group will have a “Stop the Violence” community prayer vigil at 6 p.m. Wednesday (June 23).
The vigil will be at 2649 Glenwood Ave., the former Bottom Dollar Store parking lot.
The vigil will pray for peace in the city of Youngstown and against the violence that has infected neighborhoods, according to a news release.
More details will also be shared about the Stop the Violence campaign that will take place throughout the summer.
