Local children to perform in Moscow Ballet’s ‘Nutcracker’
YOUNGSTOWN — Local children will take the stage with Moscow Ballet's professional dancers when the "Great Russian Nutcracker" comes to Powers Auditorium, 260 W. Federal St., at 7 p.m. Dec. 18.
Each year, more than 6,000 children nationwide join the Moscow Ballet dancers during the performances. The children play the roles of Party Children, Small Mice, Little Snowflakes, Snow Sprites and Snow Maidens.
The local children performing in the production are from Jordan School of Ballet, 116 N. High St., in Cortland.
