COLUMBUS — Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered flags be lowered to half staff at Ohio's public buildings to honor the lives lost in Thursday's terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan.

DeWine's order complies with the one issued by President Joseph Biden to honor the lives of the U.S. service members and other victims killed in the terrorist attack.

DeWine issued a flag lowering order Thursday night, directing that all U.S. and Ohio flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout the state until sunset Monday.
