OH WOW! to collect food items during First Night Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology, 11 W. Federal St., will accept nonperishable food items during the First Night Youngstown celebration Tuesday.

Visitors with a wristband can explore the center from 5 to 8:30 p.m., then head out to watch fireworks at 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to help those in need. Barrels will be located in the lobby.

First Night Youngstown wristbands are available for purchase at OH WOW! Visit www.OHWOWKids.org for more information.

The center will be closed Wednesday and will reopen at 10 a.m. Thursday.
