YOUNGSTOWN — Three area business leaders joined together to help raise $60,000 for the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.

Leo Henry, director of operations for the Muransky Companies, and Bob Conger, COO of Winkle Electric Co. Inc, teamed with the Preston Auto Group to present the Locker 1 & 2 Golf Outing on June 21 at The Lake Club in Poland.

"Leo and Bob started this outing seven years ago. We are so thankful that they wanted to help

our United Way. We could not have raised this much money without their dedication," Bob Hannon, president of the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, said in a news release. "And thanks to Ed Muransky and Bob and Bobby Preston for joining with us by bringing out professional golfer Rocco Mediate. Their partnership helped us reach the $60,000 mark. We want to thank everyone who came out to make this event so successful."

All of the proceeds will be used for the United Way's Success After 6 programming.
