ROAD CONSTRUCTION: Highways in Mahoning, Trumbull getting ODOT attention

The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties this week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Mahoning

Interstate 80 pavement repairs, Austintown Township: Friday at 8 p.m., the highway eastbound at SR 46 will have various lane restrictions through Saturday at 8 p.m.

Trumbull

SR 82 and SR 616 resurfacing, Vienna, Brookfield & Hubbard townships: Beginning tonight, there will be various ramp closures at the SR 82 and U.S. 62 interchange through late June. All closures will occur between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. All detours will be posted road.

SR 304 and SR 534 resurfacing: Beginning Monday, the following routes will have various lane restrictions:

  • SR 305 between SR 282 in Portage County to U.S. 422
  • SR 534 from Phalanx Mills Herner Road to U.S. 422.

The estimated completion is early September.

Columbiana

SR 7 bridge replacement: Located east of Columbiana between SR 14 and Metz Road, traffic is maintained via temporary traffic signals. The completion date is June 30.
