For all accepted new agencies and current partner agencies, grant applications will be open via E-C Impact, an online system, on Nov. 15 and will close Jan. 28, 2022. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

"By following the lead of United Way Worldwide and working with our community partners on focused Impact Areas, we will continue to create powerful collaborations to address our Valley's specific issues while providing comprehensive services and measurable results for those in need," Bob Hannon, president of United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, said in a news release. "We look forward to receiving program proposals that establish strategies that meet the needs of our community in the areas of education and emergency services."
