What you need to know before heading to Southern Park, Eastwood malls

YOUNGSTOWN — In accordance with Gov. Mike DeWine's order to close "non-essential business" Sunday, operations at Southern Park Mall and Eastwood Mall are getting leaner.

Southern Park Mall owner Washington Prime Group announced Monday the decision to temporarily close its enclosed malls. It has provided exceptions for exterior-facing restaurants that offer carryout or delivery and retail with exterior entrances offering essential goods.

All nonessential retail stores at Eastwood Mall are temporarily closed. Businesses that are open include:

  • Best Buy
  • Bloomberg Eyecare
  • Chase Bank
  • Home Depot
  • Home Savings
  • Huntington Bank
  • Pet Supplies Plus
  • Residence Inn by Marriott
  • Save-a-Lot supermarket
  • Target

The following restaurants will remain open for pick-up or delivery:

  • Applebee's Grill & Bar
  • Bob Evans
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill
  • DQ Grill & Chill
  • Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
  • Hot Heads Burritos
  • McDonald's
  • Mizu Japanese
  • O'Charley's
  • Olive Garden
  • Outback Steakhouse
  • Panera Bread
  • Primanti Bros.
  • Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar
  • Red Lobster
  • Rise Pies
  • Steak'n Shake
  • Texas Roadhouse
  • Wendy's
